Tungsten Crucibles
Tungsten crucible is a kind of container made of tungsten with high melting point (up to 3410℃), so it is widely used in various industrial furnaces which need high temperature environment, such as sapphire single crystal growth furnace, quartz glass melting furnace, rare earth smelting furnace, etc..
The working temperature of these industrial furnaces is usually above 2000℃, which has high requirements on the high temperature resistance of the container. The use of tungsten crucibles plays a key role in ensuring the success rate of seeding, quality control of crystal pulling, decrystallization and service life of the sapphire crystal growth process.
