Inconel Alloy
Inconel alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy with good resistance to high temperature corrosion and oxidation as well as excellent hot and cold working and welding properties. This alloy has satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C. It can be strengthened by cold working and can also be joined by resistance welding, solution welding or brazing. Inconel alloys are suitable for making oxidation-resistant parts that are subject to low loads below 1100℃.
