Powder metallurgy iron-based materials

1、Iron-based powder
The powder used for powder metallurgy iron-based materials and products are mainly pure iron powder, iron-based composite powder, iron-based pre-alloy powder, etc. Steel powder in China continues to develop, has developed the reduction method, carbonyl method, electrolytic method, ultra-high pressure water atomization, hot gas atomization, water vapor combined atomization, bonding diffusion, pre-alloying, pre-mixing and other technologies, the development of these technologies to enrich the variety and quality of our iron-based powder.

The production of reduction powder, high compressibility iron powder (600MPa compression density up to 7.24g/cm3), unbiased mixed powder, water atomization pre-alloyed steel powder (Fe-Mo, etc.), diffusion alloy steel powder (Fe-Ni-Mo-Cu, etc.), easy cutting steel powder (containing MnS), sintered bainite steel powder, electrode powder, iron powder for magnetic materials, iron powder for metallurgy charging, and chemical industry with iron concentrate powder A variety of products such as iron powder used to meet the market demand.

2、P/M iron-based products
Conventional pressing/sintering technology can generally produce iron-based products with density of 6.4~7.2g/cm3, which are used in automobile, motorcycle, home appliance, electric tools and other industries with the advantages of vibration damping, noise reduction, light weight, energy saving, etc. With the development of China's manufacturing industry, higher requirements are put forward for the density, strength, precision and other indicators of iron-based products. The research of high-density strengthening technology of iron-based materials has attracted much attention. Related technologies include high-speed pressing, liquid-phase sintering and micro-alloying. At present, the core technology of some iron-based powder metallurgy parts enterprises have been warm pressing, powder hot forging, surface rolling densification, billet processing, heavy pressing and re-burning, hot isostatic pressing, etc. applied to the preparation of high-density, high-precision, high-complexity parts.

3、Powder Injection Molding (MIM) Iron-based products
Metal powder injection molding technology (MIM) uses metal powder as raw material and plastic injection molding to produce small and complex metal parts. In terms of MIM materials, 70% of the materials currently used are stainless steel and 20% are low-alloy steel materials. MIM technology is widely used in cell phone, computer and other industries and auxiliary devices, such as SIM card holder for cell phone, camera ring, etc.
