NS335
NS335 is an austenitic low carbon nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy. The main difference between NS335 and other earlier developed alloys with similar chemical compositions is the low carbon, silicon, iron and tungsten content. This chemical composition results in excellent stability at 650-1040°C, improved resistance to intergranular corrosion, and avoidance of edge line corrosion susceptibility and weld heat affected zone corrosion under proper manufacturing conditions.
1、NS335 (Hastelloy C-4, N06645, 2.4610) alloy is characterized by (1) Excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media, especially in the reduced state. (2) Excellent resistance to local corrosion in halide. Typical application areas. ● Flue gas desulfurization system ● Acid washing and acid regeneration device ●Acetic acid and pesticide production ● Titanium dioxide production (chlorine method) ● Electroplating Welding NS335 can be welded by various welding processes such as tungsten inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub arc welding, metal electrode inert gas shielded welding, and fused electrode inert gas shielded welding. Pulsed arc welding is preferred. Before welding, the material should be in the annealed state, remove oxidation, oil and various mark traces, about 25mm width on both sides of the weld should be polished to a bright metal surface. The heat input is low and the interlayer temperature does not exceed 150°C. No pre-weld and post-weld heat treatment required
