Monel 411

Monel 411 is a high volume, versatile and comprehensive corrosion resistant alloy. This alloy has corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkaline solutions. It is also resistant to corrosion by neutral solutions, water, seawater, atmosphere, organic compounds, etc. An important feature of the alloy is that it generally does not produce stress corrosion cracks and has good cutting properties. The organization of the Monel Horn 411 alloy is a high strength single phase solid solution.

Monel 411 is one of the very few important materials that can resist hydrofluoric acid. Water corrosion: Monel 411 alloy in most water corrosion cases, not only corrosion resistance, but also hole corrosion, stress corrosion, etc. are rarely found, the corrosion rate is less than 0.025mm/a. High temperature corrosion: Monel 411 in the air in the continuous work of high temperature is generally around 600 ℃, in the high temperature steam, the corrosion rate is less than 0.026mm/a. Ammonia: Because of Monel 411 alloy nickel high content, so it can resist the corrosion of anhydrous ammonia below 585 ℃.
