Nickel base wire for wire springs, flat springs and wire products
This grade was developed to expand the range of applications of a single grade.
With the addition of copper to its nickel-chromium-molybdenum system, Hastelloy
C-2000 is resistant to a wide range of aggressive chemicals including sulfuric,
hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids. The combination of molybdenum and copper
provides excellent corrosion resistance against reducing media, and the high
chromium content provides good oxidation resistance. It can be used for any TSMC
springs such as wave springs, retaining rings and compression springs.
